I UCL programming tournament
At the same time, in parallel, we are running the first UCL programming tournament. This is a tournament aimed at UCL students who want to test their knowledge with their colleagues. The tournament will run in teams of up to 3 people, where up to two members can program at the same time and using the Repl.it platform. The accepted languages are C ++ and C #. So, let's see who is the fastest trigger in programming?
The description is for both 1 kg of non - perishable food!
To get started, choose which one you want to participate in:
1-Hour of Code - For Scratch, Makey Makey and MIT App Inventor workshops
2-Programming Tournament - Aimed at UCL students who wish to challenge themselves. More information HERE .
Are you ready for the dispute?

The team:
-Can consist of up to 3 participants and a reserve.
-There are no restrictions on the formation of teams, except that they must be UCL students.

The dispute:
-Will be composed of easy, medium and difficult problems, with respective value of 1, 3 and 5 points.
-All codes generated will be tested through a data file (input.txt)
-Whoever has the most points at the end. In the event of a tie, whoever has delivered the most difficult, medium and easy challenges in that order will win. If there is still a tie, it will be checked who delivered the first challenge.
-The dispute will have the total time, and exactly, 3 hours, any program delivered must have enough time to be tested within that time. Otherwise, it will be disregarded.
-Up to 2 team members can program at the same time (called programmers), while the third member will serve as support (called coach).
-Members cannot change roles (programmer / coach) during challenges. Only after delivery.
-The reservation member can be activated until 9:15 at the latest, time limit for the arrival of members. After this time, members and reservations will no longer be able to participate in the competition.
-All equipment in the competition will be from the UCL Faculty. The member cannot use his own equipment.
The challenges:
-The challenges can be delivered in C ++ or C # through the repl.it tool. It is advisable that you are already registered in it, before starting the competition.
